I’ve never trained before. Do I need to be in shape to start?

Not at all. One of the biggest misconceptions is that you need to be fit to start martial arts. Our classes are designed to help you build your fitness from the ground up. You’ll develop cardio, strength, and flexibility at your own pace while learning the fundamentals.

What equipment do I need for my first class?

For your first session, just bring comfortable athletic wear (like a T-shirt and shorts/leggings) and a water bottle. As you progress into specific programs like Boxing or Muay Thai, we can recommend the right gloves, hand wraps, or shin guards. We also have "loaner" gear available for beginners to try out!

Can I try a class before committing to a membership?

Absolutely. We offer an introductory trial session for all residents. This allows you to meet our instructors, see the facility, and experience the vibe of the gym before making any long-term decisions.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

We believe our training speaks for itself, so we offer flexible membership options. While we have discounted rates for longer commitments, we also offer month-to-month plans for those who prefer more flexibility without being locked into a multi-year deal.

My child is shy. Will they feel overwhelmed?

Not at all! Many of our most confident "mat leaders" started out hiding behind their parents' legs. Our instructors are trained to move at your child's pace, using positive reinforcement to help them find their voice and build social confidence in a supportive peer group.
